Ready? Set? Don't Forget... Your Mines Password!

Mines MultiPass Account Recovery PSA

Dear Mines Community,

At some point you may forget your Mines MultiPass password. I want to save you a trip or phone call to CCIT...

The campus Identity Management system (IDM) which was introduced to campus in March 2015, has a “Forgot Your Password” feature. But to use it, you will need to set up account recovery information before you forget your password.

It's also a good idea to periodically review and update your account recovery information.

To set up or review your account recovery information, go to the Mines Identity Self-Service website at https://identity.mines.edu/
(This process will not require you to change your current password.)

Select Manage Your Account > Change/Update Your Account Recovery Information.
You will need to know your Mines username and current MultiPass password. (For students, this is the password you use for MyMail via the web.)

For more information about MultiPass and password requirements, please see:

If you don’t know your current MulitPass password, visit the Technology Support Center (TSC) in CTLM 156; or call the TSC at 303-384-2345.
