Will You Forget Your Mines Password? What if you do?

Mines MultiPass Account Recovery PSA

Mines Community,

At some point you may forget your Mines MultiPass password. Here’s how to protect yourself if that happens.

The new campus Identity Management system (IDM), rolled out in March 2015, has a “Forgot Your Password” feature. But to use it, you will need to set up account recovery information before you forget your password.

To set up account recovery information now, go to the Mines Identity Self-Service website at https://identity.mines.edu/
(This process will not require you to change your current password.)

Select Manage Your Account > Change/Update Your Account Recovery Information.
You will need to know your Mines username and current MultiPass password. (For students, this is the password you use for MyMail via the web.)

For more information about MultiPass and password requirements, please see:

If you don’t know your current MulitPass password, visit the Technology Support Center (TSC) in CTLM 156; or call the TSC at 303-384-2345.
