Question or Problem: I am a student. How do I access my Blackboard account for the first time?

Solution: Blackboard accounts are created by an automated script for all currently registered students. To find your password:
Go to the Blackboard Login page (http://blackboard.mines.edu/).

Click on the "Forgot password?" link (http://blackboard.mines.edu/webapps/blackboard/password).

Follow the prompts.

Your Blackboard username is the same as your Email username.

Fields are case-sensitive. Remember to capitalize the first initial in your first and last names.

You will be sent an email message, to the business email address in your campus records, that will allow you access to your Blackboard account and allow you to set a new Blackboard password.
