GETTING STARTED WITH...
Sometimes the toughest step to take is the first one. If you're having trouble getting started with a Mines computing resource, or if you'd like to know more about a particular concept (like RSS, email, or personal home pages), visit CCIT's Getting Started page.
SYSTEM SUPPORT
Support for enterprise-wide services such as network, email, Blackboard, and other Mines applications is provided by Enterprise Systems (formerly IS) and CCIT Networking.
CCIT FAQ DATABASE
Use the CCIT FAQ Finder search tool to find common computing related issues.
GUIDES & REFERENCE
The CCIT Guides & References page includes documentation on a wide range of topics. Example topics are: setting up your POP mail client, configuring a dialup connection with Mines modems. In addition, quick reference guides and handouts are available at the Computing Center Front Desk (CT156A).
MINES HELP CENTER
Open a ticket at http://helpdesk.mines.edu for computing-related requests such as issues related to your email account, CSMCC accounts, CTLM labs, computers and software, or web pages that are served by www.mines.edu.
ACADEMIC & ADMINISTRATIVE DEPARTMENT SUPPORT
AADS provides computing support services to many academic departments.The scope of AADS includes support and services for desktop and workstation computers, teaching labs, department file, print and application servers, and some services. Visit the Campus Computing Front Desk (CT156A) or call at (303) 273-3431. Support staff and student consultants are available to assist with computing related issues. CCIT is a full-service facility during the normal working hours of 8:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m. on Monday through Friday. Beyond these hours, limited services are available.
